Europe Switzerland Nature Day trip to Top of Europe, Jungfraujoch, Switzerland

Jungfraujoch(Top of Europe), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located 11,333 feet (3,454 meters) above sea level and it is an amazing ride up to the Europe’s highest railway station. Jungfraujoch refers to the “saddle” between the two peaks of Mount Jungfrau and Mount Mönch; you can enjoy views of the majestic Mount Jungfrau and a 360 degree panoramic views of entire area.

The funicular railway, which is more than 100 years old, transports you to the Harder Kulm at 1322 metres above sea level in less than 10 minutes. During our eurotrip, we took train from Amsterdam to Brussels and decided to spend half a day to explore Brussels before heading out to Paris. We had to stash our big luggage bags at some location in the train station before heading out to explore Brussels. We did lose some time trying to figure out the lockers and onward train to Brussels Central etc, so this information would be beneficial for other fellow travellers.
